On the reason behind launching a daily in Ukhrul, owner ***** editor Shimreingam taking into consideration the vast gap between our 'news-starved' society and the 'ever progressing' global media upsurge, an immediate need was felt by all to bridge this huge gap.
"We, as evolving society can never afford to isolate ourselves from the events taking shape in the land and the rest of world."
"This endeavor is sincerely an attempt to connect ourselves with the constant changes of the global village".
The Shirui Lily Times wishes everyone to share their comments, feedbacks and suggestions through their email-address (shiruililytimes@yahoo.com).
